We proudly work in a collaborative role alongside surgeons in one facility outside of a hospital setting. This allows for better quality of communication in order to facilitate top-notch patient care.
Our team provides expert hand therapy services for those who have had surgery or experienced an injury. We also provide physiotherapy services to patients who have pain, and we offer assessment and programs to assess for risks and injury prevention.

Hand Therapy
We have Occupational Therapists, Physio Therapists and Certified Hand Therapists on our staff who have many years of training and experience in treating the upper extremity.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists are highly trained health professionals that assess and provide treatment for physical problems arising from injury, illness, disease, and ageing.
Splinting
Edmonton Hand Institute & Physiotherapy provides custom orthoses. An orthosis is a medical device such as a splint that immobilizes, supports, or treats muscles, joints or skeletal parts which are injured, deformed, weak or ineffective.
Casting
Casting is an effective tool to correct contractures of the hand and/or regain finger ROM.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is the use of a thin needle inserted into the skin to treat underlying muscular trigger points.
